Duties & Responsibilities

An innovative engineering organisation specialising in cutting-edge communications and electronic systems is seeking an experienced Antenna and RF Design Engineer to join its Product Development team. This role offers the opportunity to be involved in the full product lifecycle, from conceptual design and prototyping through to testing, optimisation, and final product delivery. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development of advanced antenna systems and RF circuits while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver technically sound and innovative solutions.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering. Master's Degree or PhD specialising in Electromagnetics will be advantageous.

Job Experience & Skills Required

• Minimum 3 years' experience in electronic design, with exposure to electromagnetics, RF, or microwave engineering.
• Experience in antenna design, development, testing, and optimisation.
• Knowledge of RF circuit design, including filters, switches, and amplifiers.
• Proficiency in MATLAB and/or Python for numerical computing.
• Experience using electromagnetic simulation software such as FEKO, CST, HFSS, Microwave Office, or Ansys will be advantageous.
• Strong understanding of electromagnetic theory, mathematics, and physics.
• Ability to fabricate and test prototypes, including practical electronics and soldering skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong technical communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple technical deliverables and project milestones.
• Proven ability to perform under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
