Visual Merchandising Intern - Summer 2027

Pella Corporation is seeking a motivated student for our Visual Merchandising Internship in Pella, Iowa.

This internship provides hands-on experience supporting Pella's retail display and merchandising initiatives across multiple channels, including PDSN, Lowe's, and ProDealer locations. Working alongside experienced marketing professionals, you'll help bring products to life through merchandising strategies, retail displays, and customer-facing experiences that support business goals and strengthen the customer journey.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Visual Merchandising Intern, you will support retail display, event, and merchandising initiatives that help showcase Pella products across multiple sales channels.

Responsibilities are similar to what we expect of entry-level marketing and merchandising professionals and provide opportunities to develop business, project management, and collaboration skills through meaningful projects and real business initiatives.

As a Visual Merchandising Intern, you may:

• Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of retail display programs
• Assist with merchandising initiatives that support product and sales objectives
• Contribute to projects that enhance customer and retail experiences
• Support channel and account database management, including display executions and product assortments
• Partner with Product Marketing and Visual Merchandising team members on business initiatives
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support merchandising strategies
• Create and support visual assets, display concepts, renderings, and merchandising materials as needed

Projects and assignments will be determined based on business needs and team priorities.

Additional Information

• Full-time internship assignment (May-August 2027)
• Assigned manager and project support throughout the internship
• No supervisory responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Retail Merchandising, Business, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Communications, or a related field
• Sophomore or Junior standing preferred
• Strong academic standing
• Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, or involvement through campus organizations, work experience, athletics, volunteer activities, or other experiences
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders
• Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Power BI experience preferred
• AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar visualization/design software is a plus

Compensation

The starting pay rate for this position is $23.00 per hour. Compensation for this role is established through Pella Corporation’s internship program. Eligible participants may receive transition assistance in accordance with company policies and program guidelines.
