CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Architecture & Structural Team in Albany, NY. In this role, you'll work alongside experienced engineers and designers to support the planning, analysis, and design of a variety of building projects. Whether assisting with calculations, developing construction documents, or participating in field activities, you'll gain valuable hands-on experience while building a strong foundation for a successful engineering career.

What You'll Do:

• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of structural solutions for building projects
• Support senior engineers in preparing technical reports, construction documents, and cost estimates
• Perform calculations and design tasks using applicable building codes, industry standards, and engineering best practices
• Participate in field assignments with senior staff to gain hands-on experience in structural assessments, evaluations, and design implementation

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required
• No experience required; however prior internships and/or relevant coursework are preferred
• Strong theoretical foundation and familiarity with engineering software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a collaborative team
• Participation in professional engineering society/organization preferred
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification a plus

Salary Range:

$70,000 - $78,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
