We’re Talking Rain Beverage Company, we create better-for-you beverages featuring great flavors and colors from natural sources. We live life in full flavor and believe the world should too. We create connections with every sip of our iconic Sparkling Ice, Sparkling Ice Caffeine, Sparkling Ice Energy, and Popwell.
When it comes to success, we know we’re only as strong as our team. That's why we're an equal-opportunity employer. We value diversity and practice inclusivity, hiring great people who enhance our company.
Our Rain Makers are our most important asset. That’s why we invest in them with benefits and development opportunities that reflect just how much we value them.
Our Finance team loves digging into the details to drive profitability while providing excellent customer service. You'll own the complex, relationship-driven side of customer finance — managing trade deductions, partnering with Sales, and delivering the business judgment and customer expertise that sits at the core of Talking Rain's Finance team.
Note: New hires typically receive between minimum and midpoint, however, we may go slightly higher based on experience, internal equity and market.
Investigate, validate, and resolve complex customer deductions, chargebacks, and short payments that require sound business judgment. Act as the internal expert on customer and account nuances while maintaining accurate records of customer-specific terms and agreements. Collaborate with Sales to resolve disputes, align on trade spend, and confirm deduction accuracy; serve as the escalation point for high-priority issues. Analyze customer-level data to identify trends, determine root causes, and uncover opportunities to reduce deduction volume. Coordinate customer onboarding to the VIP system, ensuring accurate account setup and configuration. Manage VIP system master data to ensure mappings remain accurate and current. Maintain TPM system data to validate deductions against approved promotional activity and customer agreements. Coordinate with Genpact on in-scope deduction activities, ensuring effective handoffs and resolution tracking. Support month-end close activities related to deductions and customer balances. Maintain deduction documentation and reporting to provide Finance and Sales leadership with visibility. Identify and recommend process improvements that reduce deduction complexity and cycle time. Follow food safety, quality, and SQF practices, and report issues to the immediate supervisor. Perform other duties as assigned.
We create connections with every sip. And we’ve found a lot of value in in-person connections! As a young, fast-growing company, we’re still creating and refining the systems that will fuel our future growth. Onsite presence is beyond collaboration, and here is why onsite presence matters:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted. Minimum of four (4) years of experience in Accounts Receivable, deductions management, or customer finance. Experience in a CPG or beverage category strongly preferred. Strong understanding of trade deductions, chargebacks, and customer billing processes. Highly detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage a high volume of transactions and disputes. Proficiency with Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel); strong Excel skills required. Experience with VIP required. Anaplan experience preferred. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; comfortable working directly with Sales and customer contacts. Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule, occasionally working evenings and weekends for special assignments.
Nothing makes a great job even better than throwing in a few perks! All regular, full-time Rain Makers are equipped with everything they need to maintain their health and well-being. That means things like...
Please note, eligibility for our full benefits package is based on an average of 30+ hours per week in regular (not temporary) positions.
