The Senior Project Manager Show Site applies advanced industry and event production expertise to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, high-profile, and technically sophisticated events. This role serves as the primary show site leader, aligning client objectives, operational execution, and financial performance while ensuring exceptional customer experiences. The Senior Project Manager partners closely with Sales, Production, Project Design, Logistics, Labor, and Venue stakeholders to proactively identify risks, drive solutions, optimize efficiencies, and ensure successful delivery of production requirements from contract execution through post-show reconciliation. This position will support our Audio Visual & Event Technology team. The position follows an in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or show-site based out of Las Vegas, NV.
May provide work direction, coaching, mentoring, and project leadership to Project Managers, Coordinators, and show site personnel. Supports onboarding and development of project management team members. Serves as a subject matter expert and escalation point for complex operational and customer issues.
Bachelor’s degree preferred, High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required. Minimum of 7+ years of event production, show site operations, project management, or related experience in the Audio Visual, Event Technology, Staging, Convention, or Tradeshow industry. Demonstrated experience managing large-scale, high-budget, or technically complex events. Prior experience serving in a lead operational role on major event projects preferred. Demonstrated expertise in convention, tradeshow, corporate event, and venue operations. Strong project leadership skills with the ability to manage large-scale and highly complex events. Advanced understanding of production planning, labor management, budgeting, and operational execution. Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a matrixed environment. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills. Ability to anticipate operational risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities. Demonstrated ability to mentor others and share operational best practices. Proficiency with project management, event management, and production planning systems. Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills; Workfront experience preferred.
