Service manager

Morrison Industries is looking for a full-time Service Manager in Detroit, MI. This team member would be responsible for managing our service department, providing support to customers and technicians to ensure high quality service.

Morrison Industries has a strict drug-free policy, and all employees will need to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical exam, background and driving record check. Employees are also subject to random drug screenings.

This team member would work Monday-Friday, first shift hours, and work up to 50 hours a week.

Compensation ranges from 85k-100k with bonuses.

Our Service Managers Typically Possess:

• 10+ years of management experience
• Associate’s degree or higher
• Strong mechanical knowledge
• Experience in dispatch services
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Computer skills, intermediate level, including experience with Microsoft Office 365
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service skills

Essential Functions:

• Processing of technician timecards and organizing weekly payroll.
• Opening, processing, and monitoring of work orders to ensure successful and efficient service.
• Proactively contacting customers to provide repair status of units.
• Debriefing with technicians at the conclusion of each day for the purpose of efficient scheduling.
• Repair estimate preparation, presentation, and processing.
• Processing of warranty claims.
• Answering phones and assisting customers with a positive customer focused attitude.
• Assisting with rental inquiries, quotations, set-up and deliveries.
• Intermediate level computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Additional duties, as assigned.
