As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, developing, and automating the release process of our software applications. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your expertise in Java, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices to drive innovation and deliver exceptional user experiences.

This role will report to the Engineering Manager and collaborate closely with product engineers, product managers and solution architects, participating in design reviews and code reviews.

  • Make a real difference: Your work will directly impact millions of users and contribute to the success of our platform.
  • Grow your skills: Gain valuable experience in managing production support and release processes, deepening your knowledge of DevOps and cloud technologies.
  • Live our values: Join a company that prioritizes Trust, Innovation, and Excellence, fostering a collaborative and rewarding work environment.
  • Accelerate your career: This role offers a clear path for growth within the engineering organization, with opportunities to take on increasing responsibility and leadership.
  • Become a well-rounded engineer: Develop a diverse skillset encompassing software design, development, automation, deployment, and production support.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring with you:

  • Strong Java skills and object-oriented programming experience
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Experience with production support and release management
  • Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms
  • Experience with AWS serverless applications development
  • Experience with Micronaut or Spring Frameworks
  • Experience with Apache Spark
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools like Jenkins and GoCD
  • Exposure to infrastructure automation tools like Terraform
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude — using them to accelerate coding, code review, debugging, and documentation
  • Working knowledge of LLM/AI integration patterns — prompt engineering, tool/function calling, RAG (retrieval-augmented generation), or building agentic workflows using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Spring AI, or AWS Bedrock
  • Experience or interest in responsible AI practices — understanding model limitations, hallucination risks, and applying human-in-the-loop review patterns in production systems

Why you might stand out from other talent:

  • Experience with UI technologies like Angular
  • Experience with GCP or Azure
  • Experience with Scala & Databricks
  • Experience with Docker, or Kubernetes
  • Hands-on experience building or shipping AI-powered features (chatbots, intelligent search, classification, summarization, or recommendation systems)
  • Experience with AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or Vertex AI APIs
  • Familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, pgvector, OpenSearch) for semantic search or RAG pipelines
  • Experience evaluating and fine-tuning LLM outputs for accuracy, safety, and cost efficiency
