RN Assistant Nurse Manager - Pediatrics, PICU, or NICU

Shift: Evening / Night Schedule

The ideal candidate is a registered nurse with a BSN, recent pediatric or neonatal critical-care nursing experience, and progressive leadership experience in a hospital setting.

The successful candidate should be comfortable supporting nursing staff and unit operations during evening and night shifts, maintaining clinical competence in the relevant specialty, and assuming unit-level oversight when the Nurse Manager is absent.

Key characteristics include:

• Current Maryland RN license or compact RN license.
• At least three years of nursing experience in Pediatrics, PICU, or NICU.
• Progressive leadership experience, such as charge nurse responsibilities, precepting, or similar assignments.
• Strong patient safety, clinical judgment, and communication skills.
• Ability to support patient throughput, staff engagement, and positive patient outcomes.
• Membership in a professional nursing organization.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
