As an RN, you'll play a critical role in guiding patients through their surgical journey, providing expert care before and after procedures while delivering reassurance, education, and compassionate support. What You'll Do

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care.
• Complete patient assessments, review medical histories, and initiate IV therapy.
• Monitor vital signs and assess patients for pain, complications, and recovery progress.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, discharge instructions, and home recovery.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, efficient patient care.
• Promote patient safety and uphold infection prevention and regulatory standards.
• Respond appropriately in emergency situations, including CPR when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid license or temporary permit to practice professional nursing in Louisiana.
• American Heart Association BLS-HCP.
• 1 yrs Med Tele/Med Surg or SDS experience preferred.
