About the Role:

Candis Inc is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Medication Aide to join our care team in Roanoke, VA. Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications to residents accurately and in accordance with state regulations and facility policies
• Document medication administration and report any changes in resident condition to nursing staff
• Monitor residents for medication side effects, adverse reactions, and overall well-being
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide compassionate personal care support
• Maintain accurate medication records and ensure proper medication storage and handling
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary care team members
• Follow all infection control, safety, and compliance protocols

Requirements:

• Current Registered Medication Aide (RMA) certification in the state of Virginia
• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred
• Prior experience in a long-term care, assisted living, or residential care setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of medication administration procedures and documentation
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to resident care
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative care team
