Quality control specialist

Description AtWork Durant is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to join a growing manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting products, identifying quality issues, and ensuring all materials and finished goods meet company and customer specifications.

Requirements/Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products
• Perform quality checks using measuring tools and inspection equipment
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records
• Identify defects and communicate quality concerns to supervisors and production teams
• Assist with corrective actions and process improvements
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards and safety procedures
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions

Qualifications

• Previous quality control or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Basic computer and documentation skills
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
