Job Description

PROPERTY MANAGER

Reports to: Regional Manager

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour

Position Overview

The Property Manager supervises quality standards and daily operations to guarantee the overall success of the property, working closely with the Regional Manager and Director of HR to support staffing, training, and performance across the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise quality standards and details to guarantee overall success of the property
  • Ensure all property reporting requirements are met by established deadlines
  • Perform and document move-out inspections and SODAs
  • Collaborate with the Director of HR and Regional Manager to coordinate and supervise team member hiring, terminations, and performance evaluations
  • Create, monitor, and collect on the Balance Due Report
  • Manage payables, order supplies, oversee petty cash, maintain issue list, and approve time
  • Communicate with the Director of Marketing on tenant outreach and unit changes in availability, specials, etc.
  • Review Market Surveys conducted by Leasing Consultants and submit to Regional Manager
  • Foster a culture of communication with team members and schedule one quarterly offsite team-building exercise
  • Perform weekly property walk
  • Facilitate and supervise employee training and continuing education
  • Serve as backup for Assistant Manager and Leasing Consultant
  • Attend required meetings: weekly conference call, weekly team meeting, quarterly onsite meeting, quarterly team-building meeting, State of Engage annual meeting
  • Create and maintain the on-call schedule for maintenance
  • Complete all training as required

Schedule: 8-hour shift, day shift, Monday to Friday
