Responsibilities
Canyon Ranch Tucson is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Programming Specialist to support the planning and execution of resort programming, retreats, guest expert experiences, group events, and special activities. This position works closely with department heads and administrators in the development of future programming for the guest experience. Responsible for communicating with and contracting future guest experts and evening programming entertainers/presenters and providing oversight and coordination on-site.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate and support daily programming, retreats, special events, and group experiences.
- Serve as an on-site host and liaison for guest experts, presenters, and group leaders.
- Assist with event logistics, room setups, signage, schedules, and guest communications.
- Support Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), group resumes, billing information, and event documentation.
- Maintain accurate programming and event information across multiple systems and guest-facing channels.
- Coordinate scheduling, travel, and logistics for guest experts and featured presenters.
- Partner with teams across the resort to ensure seamless event execution and exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications
- Must have prior knowledge of position/industry (3-5 years previous experience in same or related field).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
- Skilled in Microsoft office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Excellent event planning skills.
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
