Product Marketing Intern - Summer 2027

Pella Corporation is seeking a motivated student for our Product Marketing Internship in Pella, Iowa.

This internship provides hands-on experience supporting product initiatives and product launches across Pella's portfolio. Interns work alongside experienced Product Marketing professionals while helping bring products to market through compelling messaging, marketing collateral, and customer-facing experiences.

Working closely with Product Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, Segment Marketing teams, and creative partners, you'll gain exposure to how products are positioned, marketed, and launched across different channels and customer segments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Product Marketing Intern, you will support product marketing initiatives that help communicate the value of Pella products across various channels and audiences.

Responsibilities are similar to what we expect of entry-level marketing professionals and provide opportunities to develop business, communication, project management, and marketing skills through real-world experience.

As a Product Marketing Intern, you may:

• Build and maintain product knowledge while serving as a product information advocate with internal and external teams
• Support product initiatives and product launches across brands, channels, and customer segments
• Assist with product marketing materials including digital content, literature, video, displays, photography, and other customer-facing assets
• Collaborate with Product Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, Segment Marketing, and creative teams to ensure product information and messaging remain accurate and aligned with product strategies
• Help support product positioning, target audience messaging, and meaningful product claims
• Manage and prioritize multiple assignments while adapting to changing business needs
• Communicate project status and progress with key stakeholders
• Contribute to projects while ensuring accuracy and consistency across the Pella product portfolio

Projects and assignments will be determined based on business needs and team priorities.

Additional Information

• Full-time internship assignment (May-August 2027)
• Assigned manager and project support throughout the internship
• No supervisory responsibilities
• Opportunities to work with cross-functional business teams and creative partners
• Exposure to product marketing strategy, product launches, and customer communication initiatives
• Occasional lifting of materials up to 50 pounds may be required

QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related fields.
• Strong academic standing
• Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, or involvement through campus organizations, work experience, athletics, volunteer activities, or other experiences
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Adobe Creative Suite experience is a plus
• Experience with Workfront or similar project management tools is a plus

Compensation

The starting pay rate for this position is $23.00 per hour. Compensation for this role is established through Pella Corporation’s internship program. Eligible participants may receive transition assistance in accordance with company policies and program guidelines.
