Super Radiator Coils is hiring a Technology Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery for our coil engineering software used by customers and internal mechanical engineers. In this role, you will be part of a cross-functional team of software developers and a product designer to create innovative, impactful, and delightful technology solutions. You will work directly with customers, internal sales engineers, R&D, manufacturing operations, the wider technology organization, and leadership to determine the most important problems to solve and collaborate with your empowered product team to solve them. You will bring your soft skills and passion for technology to serve hundreds of customers in critical industries with cutting edge software. You do not need prior manufacturing or mechanical engineering experience — SRC will train you on the fundamentals — but you should be comfortable owning ambiguous, user and technical problem spaces end-to-end. We welcome all makers, forward thinkers, and problem solvers who are looking for a place to do their best work. If that’s you, we would love to have you join us!
Your Responsibilities
- Manage the full product lifecycle, including strategic planning, research and design, and product development through launch, support, and discontinuation
- Drive adoption of coil engineering applications and APIs
- Partner with Product Design to apply human-centered design and discovery best practices to deeply understand user needs
- Partner with Software Development to prioritize the highest leverage technology solutions
- Partner with stakeholders and your team to prioritize the product roadmap and backlog
- Partner with coil engineering SMEs to translate heat-transfer domain requirements into clear product requirements
- Work day-to-day with designers and engineers on delivery, as part of an empowered product team
- Analyze customer needs, industry benchmarks, market trends, and competitive strategies to identify opportunities that increase customer and business value
- Track and report on defined success metrics for the product area
- Maintain documentation and training materials for internal and external users
What You’ll Need
- 3+ years of product management experience, ideally in technical software or B2B SaaS
- Demonstrated ability to build credibility with technical stakeholders and learn domain-specific concepts
- Hands on experience and using data to inform, test, and measure product decisions
- Hands on experience working with software developers, product designers, and business/data analysts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience experimenting with AI tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
This position requires access to protected technical data and information governed by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (22 C.F.R. Parts 120-130) (ITAR). Therefore, this role can only be performed by a “U.S. person” as defined in 22 C.F.R. § 120.62.
Nice to Have
- Experience with data science and AI tools at scale
- Familiarity with Agile, Discovery best practices, and empowered product team frameworks
- Prior exposure to manufacturing, mechanical engineering, or construction software
