What you´ll do

  • Assists in R&D for new product introductions of thermally conductive silicone free composites for the eMobility and automotive electronics markets
  • Adhesive formulations, surface treatment applications, particle technology, and liquid dispensable compositions/coatings for new thermal interface products
  • Assist multiple development projects from initiation through hand-off to manufacturing scale-up
  • Translates customer and market feedback into technical specifications and develops product formulations and applicable data packages for specific customers and general market
  • Generates intellectual property in the form of patents, trade secrets, and formulation know-how
  • Contributes actively to a safe work culture by applying and contributing to safety procedures and lab safety systems.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

This is a fully onsite role, requiring the selected candidate to work in the office 5 days per week.

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelors in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related fields
  • 2+ years work experience in research and development
  • Knowledge of polymer science, including polymer chemistry, structure property relationships, rheology, bulk and adhesive mechanics of soft materials.
  • Technical knowledge in adhesive chemistries, composite materials, polymer network physics, highly filled suspension rheology, and/or resin cure chemistry.
  • Familiarity with product development processes such as stage gate reviews and project initiation
  • Knowledge of MS Office, Labview, Autocad or solid drawing programs and other common statistical analysis software

The salary range for this role is $70,000.00 - $75,000.00. This range represents the good‑faith minimum and maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offer for this role at the time of posting. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for incentive pay or other forms of compensation, as applicable. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience, education, training, and work location.
