JOB SUMMARY

Focus on supporting and maintaining all aspects of the physician compensation and business plan development program, with key attention to on-time deliverables. Coordinates with multiple key stakeholders across the enterprise. Must have strong business analytics background, including the ability to develop and analyze compensation related tasks. The ability to interpret financial statements, and a firm understanding of physician group/ healthcare operations.

Key areas of responsibility

• Compiles and develops business plans supporting internal and external acquisition opportunities and new/replacement hires.
• Ensures that payments made to providers adhere to the provisions of the Agreements which govern these relationships.
• Support the compensation programs for providers by implementing standard policies and procedures.
• Maintain and assist in the implementation and submission of all components of compensation programs, including but not limited to all forms of incentives, supplemental compensation, and other misc. payments to the payroll department.
• Support department in performing significant analytical work as it relates to the compensation systems of the organization.
• Develops provider compensation projections to determine readiness to transition to the comp model.
• Identifies and promptly reports any irregularities to the department director.

Qualifications

Experience

• 2+ years progressive experience required in a physician group practice or healthcare system setting.
• Experience working in planning or finance within a physician group practice or healthcare system.
