Phlebotomist (per diem) - temple health/episcopal hospital

Performs a variety of generally routine duties involved in the drawing and collection of blood specimens from identified patients. Records necessary information following established methods and procedures and all hospital rules and regulations. They also perform duties relative to receiving and processing specimens and maintaining laboratory supplies. Perform Point of Care Tests, interpret the results, and document the patient and control results according to the SOP.

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Associate's Degree Preferred
• Non Degree Program Medical Assistance or related program Preferred

Experience

• 1 year experience in Phlebotomy Preferred

Licenses

• Drivers License Preferred
• Certified Phlebotomist Tech Preferred
