Per Diem HR Connects Advisor – HR Shared Services – Leave Management

Jumpstart your career as a per diem HR Connects Advisor, specializing in the leave management process for one of New York City’s largest private employers. You’ll guide our new employees through the leave of absence experience with an emphasis on quality and service. In this role you’ll be responsible for accuracy and thoroughness of disability documentation, ensuring compliance with all hospital leave policies, Federal and State leave laws and regulatory guidelines. In addition, you’ll master our case management platform, allowing you to provide a broad scope of services by phone, email, and chat to solve customer inquiries related to accommodations, leave administration, workers’ compensation, leave timekeeping and HR policies. Not to mention, you will also have the opportunity to assist other teams across HR Shared Services such as Benefits, Onboarding or Workforce Administration as needed. The hours for this position can vary between 8:00am - 6:00pm.

Preferred Criteria

  • Previous human resources experience
  • Experience working in HRIS system and customer service management systems
  • Bachelor’s degree

Required Criteria

  • Associate’s degree or relevant experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work under multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast paced environment

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
