Payroll manager

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the City Treasurer/Tax Collector and/or designee, The Payroll Manager manages and oversees the City's payroll operations. Performs duties of a complex nature requiring independent judgment, discretion, and a high degree of accuracy in accordance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, collective bargaining agreements, City policies, and administrative procedures. The position is responsible for the accurate and timely processing, reconciliation, reporting, and administration of payroll for approximately 1,600 employees.
