SLS is partnering with a leading hyperscale data center client to hire an Owner's Representative Project Manager for a major new development program in the Dallas market. This individual will serve as the owner's representative on-site, partnering with developers, contractors, and operations teams to drive projects from preconstruction through turnover.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong field experience with project management expertise and can influence project outcomes without direct authority over the construction team.

Responsibilities

• Represent the owner throughout the full project lifecycle from preconstruction through turnover.
• Manage third-party developers and ensure alignment with owner objectives.
• Drive project schedules and hold stakeholders accountable to key milestones.
• Review project risks, change orders, RFIs, and schedule impacts.
• Support constructability reviews during design and preconstruction.
• Coordinate between operations, development, design, and construction teams.
• Monitor day-to-day field activities and proactively resolve project issues.
• Support commissioning, turnover, and project closeout activities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction, project management, or owner's representative experience.
• Experience delivering large-scale commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or data center projects.
• Strong understanding of scheduling, project controls, and change management.
• Experience managing projects from preconstruction through turnover.
• Ability to build relationships and influence teams without direct authority.
• Strong understanding of construction means and methods.
• Previous experience as a Superintendent, Project Manager, or Construction Manager preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Hyperscale or colocation data center experience.
• Core & Shell construction experience.
• Understanding of rack deployment and white-space fit outs.
• Owner's Rep, Delivery Manager, Technical Program Manager, or Program Manager background.
• Experience working for an owner, developer, general contractor, or consulting organization.
