We are hiring an Overnight CareGiver ready to provide quality in-home care and develop an enriching, meaningful relationship with a long-term client in the Long Beach area. Our client needs assistance with activities of daily living and enjoys their evenings through dinner, conversation and companionship. Your role as a caregiver helps them live life to their fullest and gives their family peace of mind through the night.

Schedule: Work Fewer Days, Get More Time Back

• Weekend and weeknight overnight shifts available
• Shifts start at 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM the next morning
• This is an awake overnight position
• Longer shifts mean fewer workdays, giving you more flexibility for school, family or other commitments during the week
• Overtime eligible: back-to-back nights qualify for overtime and double-time pay

What You'll Do:

• Provide 1:1 in-home care and companionship through the evening and overnight
• Assist with evening routines: dinner prep, bathing, dressing, toileting and incontinence care
• Help with mobility, including nighttime bathroom assistance
• Give medication reminders per the care plan
• Stay awake and attentive to the client's safety and comfort through the night
• Light housekeeping and keeping the home clean and safe
• Complete shift notes in our CareGiver Mobile App and hand off clearly to the morning caregiver
• Report any change in condition or concern to our care team right away

Caregiver Benefits:

• $19.00 - $20.00/hour
• Paid weekly
• Overtime eligible, including double time on qualifying shifts

What We're Looking For:

• 1+ year of caregiving experience (home care, CNA, HHA, assisted living or hospital)
• Reliable for overnight shifts; our clients count on consistency
• Able to stay awake and alert through an overnight shift
• Comfortable with personal care and mobility assistance
• Reliable transportation
• Able to pass a background check
• Not on the California Home Care Aide (HCA) Registry yet? We'll help you get registered.
