Job Description

Operations Manager

Join our family as a Operations Manager and help create a smooth, welcoming, and effective care experience for patients and the teams who support them. In this meaningful role, you will provide operational support for assigned areas while guiding support staff, strengthening patient access, supporting provider scheduling, and helping clinic workflows run more efficiently.

Why This Role Matters

Make a difference in community healthcare by helping patients access care more efficiently. Support provider schedules, staff workflows, and daily clinic operations that are essential to the healthcare ecosystem. Build collaborative relationships with support staff, providers, leadership, Business Intelligence, community partners, and other collaborators. Use operational metrics to recognize successful performance, identify trends, and uncover opportunities for improvement. Contribute to service line performance improvement projects and strategic plans that advance clinic operations.

Your Impact and Growth

You will have the opportunity to make a personal impact through thoughtful leadership and hands-on operational support. As you become an EPIC and EHRS super-user, support staff development, and help teams refine their workflows, you will help create an environment where patients and colleagues can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise support staff to ensure that department policies are being followed.
  • Handle all work schedule matters for support staff, including paid time off (PTO) and unpaid leave, and enforce the Legacy attendance policy.
  • Provide direct coverage for support staff as needed.
  • Provide EPIC support and ongoing training for support staff by becoming an EPIC and EHRS super-user.
  • Actively promote feedback and collaboration with all staff to identify ways of enhancing services.
  • Participate in interviewing, hiring, and evaluating prospective staff members.
  • Track key performance indicators on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to identify trends, recognize successful performance by staff members, and uncover problem areas in the clinic/site.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Three (3) years of experience in a healthcare setting, or service industry.

Desirable Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency is preferred.
