The Department of Neurosurgery at Children’s Hospital Colorado/University of Colorado School of Medicine (CU-SOM) has a (1.0FTE) clinical faculty position available for an Advanced Practice Provider. This position will practice at Children’s Hospital Colorado Springs and the Briargate outpatient facility. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will be a clinical faculty member of the CU-SOM, entering at the level of Instructor. This position encompasses inpatient and outpatient medical care services for children suffering from a wide range of neurosurgical disorders.
Onsite – this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The Pediatric Neurosurgery Program at Children's Hospital Colorado diagnoses and treats children with diseases of the brain, spine and nerves. We offer integrated, comprehensive treatment for all types of disorders affecting the nervous system and skull such as traumatic injury, brain tumors, blood vessel disorders, congenital anomalies (birth defects) and facial and skull deformities.
This role based at Children’s Hospital Colorado- Colorado Springs offers the opportunity to practice within a nationally recognized pediatric health system while serving children and families throughout southern Colorado. The Pediatric Neurosurgery program provides expert evaluation and treatment for a wide range of neurological conditions. Team members collaborate closely with multidisciplinary specialists across the Children’s Colorado network to deliver innovative, evidence-based care. This is an exciting opportunity to practice at the forefront of pediatric neurosurgery while making a meaningful impact on children and families throughout the region.
The Colorado Springs Children’s Hospital Campus is roughly one hour’s drive south of the Metro Denver Children’s Hospital Colorado campus. Colorado Springs is the second most populous city in the state of Colorado with a metropolitan population of 668,000.
