Job Description

Jump Ahead Pediatrics is actively seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in Dunellen, New Jersey for a part-time or full-time (leave coverage, September - March) school-based role! Let’s make a meaningful impact on every child’s journey!

Setting:

School-Based Services (Pediatric)

Excellent Compensation

Exclusive school placement (no travel required)

Hours:

8:15am-2:30pm (flexible) M-F, September - March

Pay:

$60-$65

Compensation for the full school day, including prep time, note time, and lunch.

Caseload:

Primarily preschool-aged students

Approximately 5 students with 30-minute therapy sessions, plus additional preschool students

No evaluations required – direct therapy services only

Preschool experience is highly preferred

Existing full-time OT and full-time COTA on staff

Responsibilities:

  • Providing comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments for students referred for services
  • Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students utilizing evidence-based interventions and therapeutic activities
  • Monitoring progress and adjusting therapy plans as needed.
  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and complying with regulations.

Requirements:

  • Occupational Therapist License
  • NJ School Certification
