The Nursing Program Manager – Emergency Services Quality & Safety supports The Ohio State University Medical Center’s mission by advancing safe, high-quality, and efficient patient care within Emergency Services. This role integrates clinical expertise, performance improvement methodologies, and operational strategy to enhance patient outcomes and care delivery processes.

The Program Manager partners with nursing leadership, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to identify opportunities for improvement, implement sustainable solutions, and ensure alignment with organizational priorities and regulatory standards. This position fosters a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across the Emergency Department.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Ohio
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
  • Experience in emergency or acute care setting preferred
  • Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, PDSA) preferred
