W2 taxable: $60/hr

MRI Technologist Job Summary
We are seeking an MRI Technologist must have an associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology; certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is a plus. knows how to operate the MRI machine efficiently, can make patients feel comfortable before and during the scanning procedure, and coordinates with the patient's physician to ensure the results are received in a timely manner. You also must be familiar with medical terminology and be able to stand for extended periods.

MRI Technologist Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
• Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable
• Insert IVs when necessary for the test
• Document all procedures while maintaining the confidentiality of patient information
• Patient care tasks as needed

MRI Technologist:

• Two (2) Years' Experience
• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• MUST HAVE GE SCANNER EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED
• Level 1 Trauma Center Experience
• Certification through the ARRT
• MUST HAVE INJECTION CERTIFICATION TO BE CONSIDERED

NYS Rad Tech license - must be willing to obtain this after starting
