Responsibilities

As a Monitor Tech, you will be an essential member of the clinical care team, responsible for continuously observing and interpreting heart rhythm patterns to identify, document and report both normal and abnormal findings. You will collaborate closely with clinical leaders to organize, update and maintain patient charts from admission through discharge, ensuring accuracy and continuity of care. Your ability to recognize and differentiate between lethal and non‑lethal arrhythmias plays a critical role in supporting timely clinical responses and promoting patient safety.

Qualifications

Education

High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE), or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required

Successful completion of a Basic Arrhythmia Recognition or ECG/EKG interpretation course required

Licenses and Certifications

BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
