Job Title: Material Handling Technician

Position Reports to: Receiving Lead

Status: Full-Time

Schedule/Hours Expectation: 7:00 am-4:00 pm

Location: Gunnison, UT

Position Summary

The purpose of the Material Handling technician is to assist with packaging and pulling supplies for delivery to the floor for production; ensuring specifications, quantity and quality of supplies are correct: verifying stock and identifying losses; and maintaining an organized layout and safe work environment.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintaining and updating inventory records.
• Receiving shipments from vendors.
• Counting materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock.
• Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records.
• Developing or improving upon inventory management procedures.
• Stocking and distributing supplies, equipment, and merchandise.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to walk for extended periods of time.
• Pull material following First In First Out methodology.
