Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour Day Shift.

Job Description

The Medical Lab Scientist will be responsible for Point of Care Testing within the Emergency Department. The role involves performing clerical duties as assigned to support FSED operations, along with ensuring quality laboratory services in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Point of Care Testing efficiently and accurately.
• Perform clerical duties as directed by the Nursing and Lab Director.
• Maintain and ensure compliance with all laboratory protocols and safety regulations.

Required Experience

Must have full licensure as a Medical Lab Scientist; associate level licensure is not acceptable. ASCP certification as an MLS, CLS, or MT Medical Technologist is required.

Certifications/Licensure

ASCP certification (MLS, CLS, MT) is required.
