D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Marketing Manager - Ad Tech & Operations. The right candidate is responsible for the technical execution, governance, and measurement infrastructure that support the company's Display & Performance Media programs. This position develops audience targeting strategies, manages advertising technology integrations, oversees campaign operations, and delivers cross-channel analytics that improve campaign performance and demonstrate business impact.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize audience targeting strategies across advertising channels using first-party, third-party, demographic, geographic, behavioral, and in-market audience data
- Build and manage audience segmentation frameworks, including CRM audience onboarding, customer match lists, suppression audiences, lookalike models, conquest audiences, geofenced competitor targeting, and cross-channel audience synchronization
- Design, implement, and maintain advertising technology solutions that integrate first-party customer data with DSP platforms, CRM systems, third-party data providers, and identity resolution technologies to improve audience activation and targeting accuracy
- Support digital media operational processes, including campaign trafficking, creative asset management, version control, quality assurance, specification compliance, and coordination with internal stakeholders and external agency partners
- Maintain the organization's digital measurement architecture, attribution models, and reporting methodologies that quantify campaign effectiveness, assisted conversions, media contribution, and overall business performance
- Create reporting dashboards that consolidate Programmatic, Native, CTV, Display, and other digital media performance into standardized cross-channel reporting focused on awareness, engagement, lead generation, and cost-per-lead contribution.
- Evaluate, manage, and maintain third-party audience data partnerships by assessing data quality, negotiating vendor capabilities, monitoring audience accuracy, and ensuring segment freshness across digital platforms
- Monitor campaign, audience, and creative performance to identify optimization opportunities, audience fatigue, underperforming creative assets, measurement gaps, and operational improvements, providing actionable recommendations to digital media leadership.
- Stay current on evolving digital advertising platforms, privacy regulations, audience targeting capabilities, and industry best practices, recommending process improvements that increase operational efficiency and campaign effectiveness
- Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
- Ability to travel overnight
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Advertising, Business, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
- Five (5) or more years of progressive experience in Digital Marketing, Advertising Technology (AdTech), Programmatic Media, Marketing Operations, Digital Analytics, or a related discipline
- Experience supporting digital media operations, campaign trafficking, audience management, attribution reporting, and performance analytics
- Experience integrating CRM or first-party customer data into digital advertising platforms
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form or via DRH applications
- Ability to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision
- The noise level is generally moderate
