Position Overview

TikTok Shop Live has become one of the fastest-growing channels for how Gymreapers connects with our community and drives revenue and we're looking for the first person to own it end to end. As Manager, TikTok Live, you'll set the strategy, build the playbook, and run the day-to-day operation that turns our livestreams into a consistent, profitable engine.

You'll manage our internal TikTok Live Host(s) and creator roster, own the content and promotional calendar, and partner closely with Marketing, Ecommerce, and Merchandise to make sure every broadcast is aligned to what we're launching and selling. You understand TikTok Shop inside and out, the algorithm, the commission structures, the creator dynamics, and you know how to turn that knowledge into a channel that grows month over month.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Revenue

• Own strategic direction and growth planning for TikTok Shop Live, with clear revenue targets and KPIs.
• Build, track, and report on the KPIs that determine whether the channel is profitable and growing.
• Analyze performance data to identify what's working and scale it relentlessly — you're equally comfortable in a dashboard and going with your gut on what will land with an audience.
• Build and continuously refine the Gymreapers playbook for TikTok Shop Live: scheduling cadence, content structure, and promotional mechanics.

Talent & Team Management

• Directly manage and coach the TikTok Live Host(s) and internal creator roster, providing real-time feedback and setting them up to perform.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop additional hosts or creators as the channel scales.
• Set clear expectations for performance and hold the team accountable to revenue and engagement goals.
• If/when we bring on agency or external creator partners, own that relationship: setting expectations, measuring results, and iterating fast.

Content & Programming

• Own scheduling, creative direction, and content strategy for live broadcasts — product drops, Q&A segments, workout demos, athlete collabs, promotional and seasonal campaigns.
• Translate product features into narrative moments and promotional angles that convert viewers into buyers.
• Stay ahead of TikTok Shop's algorithm shifts, commission structures, and promotional levers, and adjust programming accordingly.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Partner with Marketing, Ecommerce, and Merchandise to align live programming with product launches, inventory, and campaign timing.
• Coordinate across multiple TikTok Shop handles or channels where relevant, ensuring strategic differentiation and coordinated scaling.
• Report channel performance and revenue impact to marketing leadership.

Qualifications & Skills

• 3–4 years of proven experience managing or operating TikTok Shop live streams, or an equivalent short-form commerce livestream platform.
• Deep understanding of TikTok Shop mechanics: algorithm, commission structures, promotional levers, and creator dynamics.
• Track record of driving measurable revenue growth through live streaming.
• Experience managing or coaching on-camera talent, hosts, or creators — you understand what motivates them and how to get the best from them.
• Comfort with ambiguity and data; you make decisions with incomplete information and iterate based on what you learn.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills — you can translate product features into moments that convert.
• Collaborative leadership mindset; you thrive working across functions to solve operational challenges.
• Passion for fitness culture (strength training, bodybuilding, CrossFit) and the Gymreapers brand is a strong plus.
