Responsible for the overall performance in the revenue audit and accounting departments. Accountable for accounting functions including assisting with month end close and financial statement preparation, internal, assist with external and regulatory agency audits and other financial reporting as deemed necessary. Promote Family Style Service through actions and positive attitude.
Responsibilities
How You Will Create the Extraordinary
- Review daily work generated by revenue auditors and prepare journal entries necessary to book revenue to the general ledger
- Prepare special reports for audit preparation and review reports prepared for and by outside monitoring agencies.
- Review staffing levels to maintain full employment. Delegate authority and assign responsibility.
- Review audit activities with the Finance Controller.
- Supervises policies, procedures and regulations regarding audit and compilation of revenue and reporting requirements and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude toward all external and internal guests at all times.
- Maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial information, operating systems, company policies and procedures, marketing plans, and team member information.
- Review and analyze financial statements and various financial reports.
- Perform various account reconciliations and maintain balance sheet reconciliation records.
- Create and/or edit financial reports within infinium.
- Prepare various monthly financial reports. Assists in cash flow analysis.
- Manage count, income audit and financial accounting to include accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Assist in preparing audit work papers and being involved in the audit process for internal, external and regulatory agency audits.
- Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary.
- Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same.
- Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities.
- Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
- Ensure the safety and security of all guests and team members.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.
- Other duties as assigned or any reasonable request from any member of management.

Qualifications
What You Will Need
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Proficient in English verbal and written
- Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a 1055 gaming license.
- Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, abilities demonstrated in analyzing and tracking software for profitability, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
- Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
- Five to Seven years experience in finance operations with a 4 year degree in related field or equivalent work experience. CPA preferred.

The Gaming Analytics Department is responsible for leading all analytical work related to table games, slots, poker and other gaming products. Our team works with table games and slots operational leadership, Shared Services (ESS Gaming), and property leadership (AGMs/GMs) to optimize the gaming floor and explore/test new products. Some of their activities include:
- Gaming asset optimization: making recommendations for the types of table games and number of slot units necessary to satisfy demand.
- Creating and updating recurring product performance models and reports
- Advising gaming leadership: analyzing and reporting on the financial performance and profitability of table games and slot units on a monthly basis.
- Assisting with ad hoc analyses
