The Virginia Department of Health (VDH) is seeking a strategic, experienced, and mission-driven leader to serve as the Long-Term Care Division Director within the Office of Licensure & Certification (OLC). This position plays a critical role in safeguarding the health, safety, and rights of some of Virginia’s most vulnerable populations by overseeing the licensing, inspection, and regulation of long-term care facilities across the Commonwealth.
The Division Director will provide leadership and oversight for regulatory programs focused on nursing homes, immediate care facilities, hospital based long term care facilities and other providers of long-term care services. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements, advancing quality of care, and collaborating with stakeholders to promote transparency and accountability within Virginia’s long term care system.
This is a key leadership role for a proven professional dedicated to advancing healthcare quality and ensuring safe, person-centered care for Virginians in long term care settings.
