Position: Medical Lab Scientist (or MT Medical Technologist) for Point of Care Testing

Location: Westlake Emergency Center Lab, 700 N Redwood Rd, Lehi, UT 84043

Start Date: ASAP

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 10
• Number of Staff: 6
• Type of Staff:
• Day Shift: 2 RNs, 1 Paramedic, 1 MD, 1 Rad Tech, 1 MLS
• Night Shift: 2 RNs, 1 Paramedic, 1 MD, 1 Rad Tech, 1 MLS

Required Certifications:

• ASCP certification (MLS, CLS, or MT Medical Technologist)
• Full license (not associates)

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Point of Care testing

Typical Procedures:

• POC testing
• Clerical duties as assigned by Nursing and Lab Director

Personality Fit:

• Collaborative and supportive team player

Dress Code:

• Any scrub color

Schedule:

• Mixed weekends, no on-call required
