The Opportunity

We are seeking a Key Account Manager to expand current relationships and discover new relationships within the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) supporting the United States Government and its initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Form multi-level and multi-positional relationships within current and new account sets to further Schneider Electric (SE) product and service sales
• Support contractual and technical discussions on upcoming Power infrastructure requirements with defined account sets across all SE Business Units
• Own high-value, six- or seven-figure deals, guiding long-term capital projects, Switchgear modernizations, Datacenter buildouts, and multi-BU solution-based opportunities
• Coordinate with both the DIB corporation’s leadership and facility commands. You must align your solutions with federal funding mechanisms and multi-year facility capital expense budgets, not limited to complex procurement processes and long procurement timelines
• Be an integral part of forming and evolving the overall go-to market strategy of SE Federal
• Handle high profile clients, key to the success of the SE Federal business, with high internal visibility

What You'll Bring

• 5-10 years of experience selling highly technical products sets into grey and white space facilities
• 3 years of key account management experience, managing accounts with 1,000+ employees
• Bachelor of Science degree or experience equivalent, preferably an Engineering discipline
• 3 years experience of any combination of Switchgear, UPS, Microgrid, or Emergency power products
• 2 year’s experience using Salesforce or equivalent CRM

• S. Citizenship required
• Remote position ideally located but not limited to: Space Coast, FL, Salt Lake City, UT, DC Metro, San Diego, CA, Denver, CO
• Ability to Travel nationally up to 50%
