Who We’re Looking for

We’re looking for an IT Technician to provide technical support and assistance to users of computer systems and networks within our organization. The ideal candidate will be a reliable and detail-oriented problem-solver with a demonstrated ability to prioritize their workload to meet the needs of the business and internal customers. The IT Technician does not have direct reports and will report to the Purchasing/Inventory Control Manager.

What you’ll be doing:

With the use of digital tools, your experience, and industry standards you will…

• Resolve and track end user software/hardware computer problems and work with end users to identify technology needs that will help streamline their business processes
• Install, configure, maintain, support, and troubleshoot peripheral devices such as printers, scanners, mobile/smart phones related to desktop infrastructure in accordance with department standards
• Analyze, design, implement and upgrade e-mail systems, provide technical assistance to users, and troubleshoot as needed
• Provide support for all software changes/updates, corrective actions and new application installations
• Participate and assist in educating personnel on computers, error, and recovery application software usage
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Experience and Education Requirements

Associate’s degree in information technology (or related field), or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
