Job Description

IT Operations Lead

We're looking for a hands-on IT Operations Lead who knows how to troubleshoot, take ownership, and keep technology moving across multiple locations. This is not a role where you simply pass tickets along. You'll be the senior escalation point for technology issues, supporting employees, systems, networks, cybersecurity, vendors, devices, and dealership applications from start to finish.

If you enjoy solving complex problems, working with both people and technology, and being the person others turn to when something needs to get fixed, this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide remote and onsite IT support across corporate office in Denver and dealership locations in Boulder, Longmont and Colorado Springs.
  • Troubleshoot computers, software, accounts, networks, Wi-Fi, phones, printers, and connected equipment.
  • Manage employee technology and access for new hires, transfers, and departures.
  • Support Microsoft 365, Outlooks, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, MFA, Microsoft Authenticator, Duo, and other business systems.
  • Deploy, replace, recover, and track computers and other technology assets.
  • Troubleshoot network, firewall, DNS, connectivity, cabling, and internet issues.
  • Monitor cybersecurity alerts and support incidence response, containment, remediation, and documentation.
  • Investigate dealership technology issues involving CRM, websites, inventory, pricing, lead delivery, integrations, and digital retail systems.
  • Coordinate technology vendors, managed service providers, support cases, renewals, equipment, and projects.
  • Own issues through resolution and keep employees and leaders informed along the way.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in IT operations, systems administration, or multi-location IT support.
  • Strong experience supporting Windows and Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Working knowledge of networking, including Wi-Fi, firewalls, IP addressing, DNS, ports, circuits, and connectivity.
  • Experience managing user accounts, permissions, MFA, cloud applications, and endpoint devices.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and incident response.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work through issues involving multiple systems or vendors.
  • Excellent organization, communication, judgment and follow-through.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to travel between supported locations as needed.

Bonus Points If You’ve Used:

  • VINSolutions CRM
  • vAuto
  • Dealer.com
  • DealerTrack
  • Xtime
  • Cox Automotive products

What Success Looks Like

You'll help ensure employees have the technology and access they need, IT issues are resolved quickly and thoroughly, security concerns are addressed appropriately, and our technology environment stays organized, secure, and dependable.
