Johanson Technology Inc. (JTI) is looking for an IT Manager for our Camarillo, CA corporate office. The role will oversee the daily operations of the IT department. The IT Manager will perform assessments on company systems to ensure proper operations and to identify any issues that need to be addressed, and report to the IT Director. Will manage staff that upgrade and maintain a company's computer systems, including databases, desktop systems, data communication networks, and software programs.

JTI has over thirty years' experience specializing in the design, manufacture and sales of high-quality Power and RF ceramic chip capacitors, inductors, and Integrated Passive Components into the global electronics market.

Yearly Salary (Exempt):

$120,000 - $130,000 (DOE)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• At least an Associate degree in the IT related field, Computer Science and/or Computer Technology/Network Administration
• Certification in the technical field, such as Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
• Minimum seven (7) years of experience in system analysis, data administration, network design and/or computer programming.
• At least two (2) years or less in a management/supervisory role in an IT services setting; staff supervision and evaluation budget management and project management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; written and verbal.
• Strong organizational and customer service skills and flexible and able to quickly adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred EDUCATION AND Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Bilingual English and Spanish

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Execute assigned initiatives and projects in alignment with the IT Director's goals, priorities, and strategic direction.
• Manage RMM System (Setting Up and Supporting Automation)
• Manage and support Ticketing and Documentation System
• Manage and support the server infrastructure and ensuring network up-time
• Ensure performance goals are effectively implemented, monitored, and communicated to subordinates to drive accountability and results.
• Address employee concerns and complaints promptly, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to resolve issues.
• Serve as a communication bridge between management and employees by conveying information, feedback, and organizational updates in a timely and effective manner.
• Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake
• Install and maintain computer systems throughout the JTI location.
• Upgrade existing technology and identify newer methods or processes when needed.
• Manage IT staff and operations in both JTI and JMX offices
• Able to produce coherent reports and training manuals outlining department procedures, upgrade processes, budget development, and other areas of responsibility.
• Plans, recommends and implements technology projects (network planning, software/hardware/cloud services deployment, connectivity, photocopiers/printers, IP phone and intercom systems, hardware/software repairs, and upgrades).
• Installs and maintains hardware and software, including server and desktop computers, tablets, databases, VM systems, security cameras, server operating systems, Microsoft 365 and Azure, network cabling and equipment, and other communications equipment in offices and production floor.
• Manage all technology inventory and generates/updates a list or report to the IT Director
• Responds to disaster recovery, including documentation of procedures related to disaster recovery; Ensures data recovery by using existing backup software.
• Monitors the performance, security, backup, and recovery of the network and data.
• Monitors systems and responds to emergencies and pre-empt problems.
• Documents trends and trouble spots to conduct proactive maintenance or repairs.
• Provides technical advice, training, and assistance to staff as needed.
• Performs special projects and other related duties as assigned by the IT Director.
• Manage IT vendors and installers when installing and implementing new systems
