Information Technology Associate:

The Information Technology Associate position is responsible for supporting the firm’s network and databases and acts as the IT administrator. The IT Associate works to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions; and models’ exemplary behavior to adhere to IT policies, procedures, and best practices for all aspects of the organization according to its strategic plan. The IT Associate’s role is to help ensure streamlined IT operations in alignment with the business objectives of the organization.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide responsive, professional technology support to employees across the firm.
  • Work with internal clients to understand technology needs, answer questions, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions.
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with 3rd Party IT contractor and coordinate with them on technology support and infrastructure needs.
  • Support effective cybersecurity management by maintaining appropriate security practices, monitoring access and user accounts, coordinating security training, and address security risks and technology concerns.
  • Assist with the management and administration of firm technology systems, including CCH, Active Directory, computers, phone systems, website, security systems, and other technology platforms.
  • Coordinate technology onboarding, including computer setup, user account creation, system access, and security training.
  • Plan, coordinate, and complete technology projects, including managing timelines, resources, documentation, and communication.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and technology changes to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Assist with technology renewals, vendor communication, and technology-related reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to improve technology processes, automation, efficiency, and the employee experience.
  • Develop technology guides and training materials and provide training to employees as needed.
  • Provide technology support to branch offices as needed; some travel may be required.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and procedures to support consistent technology processes and cross-training.
  • Preforms minor maintenance of physical technology hardware and other items throughout the office building.
  • Exhibits behaviors that align with and uphold the firm values and culture.

Qualifications:

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Strong troubleshooting, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with employees, leadership, and external vendors.
  • General knowledge of AI tools and software.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline required.
  • Experience with A and A/Comp SCI, databases, programing, or cyber security.
  • Experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related technology role.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
