If you are a hands-on quality professional who thrives in a high-autonomy environment where you can take true ownership of compliance and quality systems, this position offers your ideal professional home.

Operating as an established, financially rock-solid custom manufacturer, this organization has built an enviable reputation for precision engineering, custom component manufacturing, and uncompromised quality standards. Unlike large, rigid corporate conglomerates where your impact is buried under layers of bureaucracy, this agile, mid-sized production facility ensures you are a key strategic player on day one.

Working on-site in Wisconsin and collaborating closely with site management, production personnel, and the Quality Manager on compliance and quality matters, you will serve as the localized subject matter expert for ISO 9001 compliance. Here, your ideas are encouraged, your technical input is valued, and your efforts directly safeguard company certification and customer satisfaction. Reflecting this true people-first culture, the organization boasts remarkable employee tenure and rewards its team through competitive base pay and profit sharing.

What You Will Be Doing (Daily Responsibilities)

  • Drive ISO Compliance: Support the full implementation and ongoing compliance of the facility's ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Audit & Identify Gaps: Conduct routine internal audits, monitor daily floor adherence to established standard operating procedures and work instructions, and follow up on compliance gaps.
  • Execute CAPA & Root Cause: Assist with CAPA investigations, lead root cause analysis for nonconformances, and execute effectiveness verifications.
  • Maintain Quality Logs: Own and maintain LOG-005 (Product Inspection & NCR Log), driving nonconformance documentation and disposition follow-ups.
  • Manage Customer Returns & FAIs: Support returned product evaluations, testing, and finding documentation while assisting Engineering with First Article Inspections (FAI).
  • Oversee Floor Inspections: Support incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities, including supplier quality investigations.
  • Maintain System Records: Keep controlled documentation, training logs, and quality records up to date to ensure constant ISO certification readiness.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements & Qualifications)

  • Manufacturing Quality Depth: 3+ years of hands-on quality experience within a precision discrete manufacturing environment.
  • ISO 9001 Core Expertise: Solid working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards, QMS implementation, internal auditing workflows, and CAPA resolution.
  • Technical Blueprint Literacy: Proven ability to read and accurately interpret complex engineering drawings, schematics, and customer specifications.
  • Career Stability & Autonomy: Rock-solid career track record showing consistent employment (2+ years per employer) and the self-direction needed to coordinate effectively with leadership.
  • US Work Authorization: Must be a United States Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card holder).
  • Local Commute: Residing within a comfortable ~45-minute commuting radius of the Brown Deer / Milwaukee facility to support daily on-site operations.
