Description:
The International Patient Accounts Specialist 1 is responsible for supporting international patient billing and account activities under established guidelines and procedures. This role focuses on accurate account maintenance, insurance verification, and timely follow-up while developing working knowledge of international billing practices, payer requirements, and reimbursement processes. The Specialist I serves as a knowledgeable point of contact for internal stakeholders and patients, escalating complex issues as appropriate.
Qualifications:
Degrees: Associates.
Additional Qualifications: Minimum of one (1) years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare finance, accounting, or revenue cycle operations with an emphasis on international billing, collections, denial management, and appeals.
