Position Overview

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Insurance Account Manager to join their team in Mandan, North Dakota. This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys building client relationships, providing exceptional customer service, and managing insurance accounts in a fast-paced, professional environment.

The Insurance Account Manager will be responsible for supporting existing clients, coordinating policy renewals, processing insurance documentation, and working closely with the sales team and insurance carriers to ensure clients receive timely and accurate service.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for insurance clients, assisting with policy questions, coverage changes, renewals, and account servicing.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and personalized service.
• Collaborate with the sales team to support client retention, identify new business opportunities, and generate referrals.
• Coordinate policy renewals, prepare and submit insurance applications, and communicate with insurance carriers.
• Maintain accurate and organized client records, policy information, and insurance documentation.
• Review insurance policies and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Resolve client inquiries and account issues efficiently while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
• Support daily insurance operations and assist with additional administrative responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Active Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance License required.
• Minimum of 3 years of customer service and sales experience, preferably within the insurance industry.
• College degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
• Understanding of insurance products, policy servicing, and renewal processes preferred.
