Job Description

Inspector Level 3

As an Inspector Level 3 here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products and processes. You will be responsible for conducting detailed inspections, identifying defects, and ensuring adherence to industry standards and company specifications to maintain the highest level of product integrity.

You will report directly to our Quality Manager and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on an on-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the overall quality assurance process by providing expert inspection services that help maintain product excellence and customer satisfaction, contributing to Honeywell Aerospace’s reputation for reliability and safety.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform detailed inspections of products and components to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Identify, document, and report defects or non-conformances and work with production teams to resolve issues.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the quality assurance process.

QUALIFICATIONS

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in quality inspection or related roles with a focus on detailed product and process inspections.
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards, inspection techniques, and defect identification methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment, and experience with quality documentation and reporting systems.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements relevant to the inspection process.

WE VALUE

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment with exposure to quality management systems.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO or AS9100 is a plus.
