About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Supervisor to serve as a hands-on leader and key technical resource to our client's IT team. This role will play a critical part in prioritizing and guiding infrastructure work, developing team members' careers, and keeping systems secure, available, and aligned with strategic plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate the IT strategic plan into team goals, set priorities, and coach staff toward their objectives
• Establish and track SLAs to ensure dependable delivery of IT services
• Take an active role in disaster recovery planning, preparation, and execution
• Prioritize organizational projects in partnership with Technology Operations leadership
• Supervise the infrastructure team, including hiring, goal setting, performance reviews, merit recommendations, and corrective action when needed
• Create and enforce policies and procedures that protect company assets and the security and privacy of information
• Assess emerging technologies and recommend those that fit the environment
• Architect the IT environment as needed by designing configurations, directing installations, and setting and documenting system standards
• Own the integrity of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization, network, and cloud-delivered services
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure configuration, mapping, processes, and service records
• Partner with engineers to implement new systems and maintain existing ones

Requirements:

• 5+ years of progressive IT experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role
• Background on the systems side of IT infrastructure
• Experience in a hybrid on-prem/Azure environment
• Ability to effectively prioritize team workload and execute tasks
• Experience managing vendor and service provider relationships

Preferred:

• Experience completing a VMware to Hyper-V migration
• Experience in a regulated environment
• Bachelor’s Degree
