A Typical Clinic Day

Your day starts by reviewing the schedule, intake activity, and overnight updates, a quick 15 min. flash meeting with staff to review day assignments, then checking dashboards and logs to confirm records are current and ready. Conduct referral-admit pipeline meeting and schedule admits, then make clinic rounds to make sure all therapy groups are conducted according to schedule and resolve any patient/staff issues, investigate incidents and document. Mid-morning is spent in brief huddles and focused follow-ups—closing documentation gaps, preparing QAPI materials, and ensuring items needing authorization are moving without delay. Throughout the afternoon, you balance desk-based work with quick in-person check-ins, keeping priorities visible and timelines realistic. Before wrap-up, you document progress on action plans, confirm next-step owners, and leave the clinic positioned for a compliant, organized next day in the Healthcare Clinic.
