Healthcare Project Manager

About the Role: A healthcare organization in Brooklyn is hiring a Project Manager to own utilization, staffing, and caregiver compliance across their patient population. The role exists to catch missed visits, staffing gaps, and clock-in problems before they turn into patient-care issues. It's a full-time, in-office position.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilization & Staffing
  • Monitor patient utilization and track authorized vs. actual hours
  • Identify the causes behind missed visits or low utilization and work with coordinators to resolve them
  • Track staffing to keep patients consistently covered
• Caregiver Compliance
  • Monitor caregiver clock-in/clock-out activity and flag compliance issues
  • Follow up with caregivers who aren't meeting visit or documentation requirements
• Reporting & Process Improvement
  • Build and maintain Excel reports on utilization, missed visits, staffing, and compliance
  • Pull data from multiple teams and turn it into clear reports for management
  • Spot trends and recurring issues affecting utilization
  • Partner with staffing, coordination, and compliance teams to improve processes
  • Take ownership of projects aimed at improving utilization and operations

Qualifications

• Organized, analytical, and excellent at follow-up
• Comfortable working in Excel; strong Excel skills a plus
• Enjoys digging into a problem's root cause and working with a team to fix it
