The Head of Franklin Crypto Capital Formation function is dedicated to growing the firm’s investor base, driving capital formation and fostering robust, transparent, productive relationships with our investors. Our mission is to ensure that our Limited Partners (LPs) and other stakeholders, including the global distribution teams, are well-informed, engaged, and confident in their investments with Franklin Crypto. The team works collaboratively with the division’s leadership, investment professionals, global distribution team and external stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and effective investor relations strategy, one anchored in best-in-class client experience.
Our firm executes a diverse array of scalable, institutional investment strategies spanning open- and closed-end funds, including hedge funds, venture and private credit funds, across seed stage, early venture stage, and public crypto token and equity investing. The Capital Formation function serves to (a) lead capital formation across our full platform of cryptonative open- and closed-end funds, hedge funds, venture and private credit funds sourcing commitments from both cryptonative and traditional institutional allocators and (b) manage deep and productive relationships across the entirety of the LP base with a focus on securing additional tier 1, institutional long-term backers, and (c) deliver an excellent end-to-end investor experience by ensuring a seamless LP experience.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Crypto Capital Formation to lead fundraising across Franklin Crypto’s full fund platform, expand our institutional investor base, and own the end-to-end investor experience from first conversation through subscription, redemption, and ongoing servicing. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in institutional fundraising and investor relations and servicing, a robust network of both cryptonative and traditional institutional investors and managers (including pensions, endowments, foundations, OCIOs, fund-of-funds, family offices, and crypto-native allocators), and a clear passion for the crypto and Web3 landscape. The role will report directly into the Head of Franklin Crypto.
