The US Government Affairs team is looking for a Government Affairs Manager to work in a fast-paced environment to assist members of the US Government Affairs team located in Washington, DC and to provide related programmatic support, government affairs outreach, and project management. The candidate will engage in, and should be familiar with, policy issues related to AI, sustainability, cybersecurity, and trade, among others. The position will work closely with the Chief of Staff, policy team, and others within USGA and requires a strong focus on collaboration, data management, writing, and internal policies and procedures. This role will take the lead in coordinating and facilitating some of the USGA team’s most important work, including engagement with the administration and federal agencies, and partnering closely with others in similar roles. This role will report directly to the Chief of Staff.
Bachelor's Degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Political Science, Business Administration, Technology, Law, Liberal Arts, Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years work experience in government affairs, corporate affairs, public policy, government, or related area OR equivalent experience.
Government Affairs IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $86,300 - $173,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $112,600 - $189,200 per year.
