Global Finance Manager – Kalrez, Semiconductor Technologies

REPORTS TO: VP Finance, Semiconductor Technologies

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kalrez is a fast growing global business unit with $300-400M revenue. As the Global Financial Manager for Kalrez business, this role provides both strategic and execution-focused financial leadership, and partnership to the Vice President & General Manager, Kalrez.

Scope of role includes:

  • Integral part of Kalrez global leadership team (GLT).
  • Strategic and thought partner to Vice President & General Manager, Kalrez.
  • Provides leadership to meet business objectives and ensure timely, accurate and insightful analysis of business performance and forecast.
  • Manages all financial aspects of the annual Strategy Review and Execution Review (annual budget) preparation process.
  • Manages the financial forecasting and reporting processes and recommends changes as required.
  • Ensures appropriate financial support on complex business decisions, with particular focus on the high growth and very dynamic industry.
  • Provides cross-business coordination on financial matters related initiatives and forecasting.
  • Ensures integrity of financial results.
  • Ensures adherence to financial policies within the business, based on corporate guidelines and business strategies (including SOX compliance for business finance processes).

Must operate well in a cross-cultural environment and lead the organization to operate to maximize long-term business profitability and success. In addition, the incumbent is a key member of the Electronics financial leadership team, with shared responsibility for data quality, functional costs, financial systems and work processes and corporate financial policies.

CRITICAL SKILL SETS:

  • Experience and expertise in business analysis, financial/decision modeling, financial systems and processes, and S&OP planning.
  • Ability to articulate financial issues and impacts in the business context.
  • Ability to set direction and use interpersonal skills to gain alignment on complex decisions and motivate business and functional teams to achieve goals.
  • Understanding of financial and internal control policies and standards. Strong ethics & integrity.
  • Thrive in a global environment with understanding of cultures around the world.

Qualifications

Educational / Minimum Skills Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting. MBA strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years relevant experience in business finance, accounting and costing.
  • Excellent analytical, decision support and influence/negotiation skills and the ability to assist the business team in defining and executing business plans and growth projects (e.g. ability to articulate financial issues and impacts in the business context).
  • Candidate must be a proven leader with strong global networking and teamwork skills. Business Finance expertise is essential to participate in business strategy development and financial support of the execution of those strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills required.
